Just had an idea.

EvoTechnik Sponsored Meet

Similar to the e36coupe.com meet in Feltham, let's plan a date for something like March, BUT lets start advertising now, we can get magazine exposure, hand out flyers and stuff, invite Iain from PBMW they can sell magazine subscriptions and whatever.

We can have SSDD Motorsport giving away free stuff / selling etc. etc. etc

What you reckon?

We can have SSDD Motorsport giving away free stuff
Sure, welcome to have it in my garage if that's the case, Ted can have the keys in advance. :p

Seriously though, I think it's a great idea. The location would be the most important thing, but with 6 months to go it's not like there isn't time to find a good one. I know a really good photographer who I'm sure would be only to happy to do some pro shots for marketing/publicity/owners on the day or ahead of it (if you guys don't have that covered already).

Well done guys,

not bad considering Evotechnik is only in its (relative) infancy.

Meet would be cool, i'd definitly be up for it, if E36's are invited that is! ;)

Of course you are welcome, Evotechnik... Just belives in Tasteful modding, what use as your canvas is up to you. And the e36, is a great canvas to "paint" on.

Assuming I have the crew support, I'm gonna get the ball rolling and organise this.

What you think of Ace Cafe as a venue? We can get them involved, put some refreshments on and stuff, and they have links with ALL the mags and get some promo that way? After all, it's where we started right?

Durgesh

Yup Fas go for it, sounds like a great idea.

will definitely be a weekend. was initially thinking Late March / early april to get some decent weather but HIN will be around that time, maybe push out a huge meet to early summer to give enough time to prep. thinking, get SSDD to set up a stall and stuff, get much magazine exposure via PBMW, if we can tie in a charity, get newspaper exposure too!

EvoTechnik - premier car tuning club in the UK, that's where we want to be by December 2005. We need more cars and I'm thinking e30 and e36's, porsche's (anyone know anyone that owns a nice modded porker?), and even Danny's (DDX)'s golf!

We'll be like EuroProjektz, 100% pure class

and even Danny's (DDX)'s golf!

Bought my current wheels off him the other night. His Golf is some piece of kit! Very nice indeed. Top bloke, as well. :)

Sounds like a great idea. Definitely be up for it. ACE Cafe is not a bad location, will get tons of attention on a sunny Sunday afternoon. I'm sure the restaurant management will welcome us too.

We need a variety of cars and not just BMs, we've got a TVR, a Ferrari, a Golf, I can get my mate to bring along his lightly modded CLK 320 (Hartge rims)....maybe Digs can also get his mum to spare us her Jasper Blue drop top ;) ..........it will look SICK on ACE's forecourt with flags and banners flying!

I'm dreaming already......................

Definitely on the same wavelength Nick ;)

OR I have another idea for a location.

My uncle owns a really nice garage in gerrards cross. He has a gorgeous forecourt and massive parking facilities. Ask teddy, he's seen it. teddy can set up shop inside and we can play around outside.

As for BlackBimmerUK - Depends. How much money you got ;)

BlackBimmerUK
08-10-2004, 08:15 PM
i got no money :( , as I spent it all on my mods:

CCFLs
Hartge Lip Spoiler
ACS Wing Mirrors
M3 Boot Spoiler
Hartge Split Rims
Remus SS Exhaust
Eibach Springs
Dechromed grill
Chrome Dial Rings
Hartge Gearknob!!!

BigFas

Just playin'

BlackBimmerUK

Bro

Chill out on the "money" talk, makes you sound desperate. . Just a lil' advice from a brutha.

I'm gonna speak to Ace Cafe in a couple of weeks. If they have any problems, I'll speak to my uncle, get him to clear some space. I'm actually erring towards my uncle's place, but at the same time, I gotta realise I can't mess around with his bread and butter business.

Let me get my head around a few details and I'll start up a separate thread. Then we will post-whore in the new year on ALL the other forums we frequent in the new year when everything is nearly finalised

A private garage is not a bad idea but I thought for an event like this, we want maximum publicity; that means passers by stopping randomly to just to look see. ACE would be a better venue.

BigFas

Good point well made Nick

Will contact ACE over the coming weeks
