Hi guys,
Thought i'd register on this forum, see what all the fuss is about!!
I've been on BMWCar forum for a while so some of you may know me. I'm also the big brother of SSDD-Motorsport's web designer (Shuriken), so you can all bitch about his work to me! Lol :)
I've got a lightly modified (Well, by Evotechnik standards anyway!) E36 318i as follows:

Very impressed, much better looking forum than BMWCar and the like.

Hello and welcome :)
Thanks for joining and the compliment, Digs is the brains behind the forum, we are mere contributors :D but yeah, it's better than BMWCar forum fo' shizzle ;)

Lol :D Carpet, obviously!
Thanks for warm welcome guys. :)
Well i've got more mods in this year than i had first planned but i am by no means finished.
After some repairs to the rear brakes(Drums  ) for MOT, im looking at adding the following to my list in near future:
New exhaust system as Scorpion is driving me up the bloody wall. Initially thought about SS but you guys with your Eisenmann's may just tempt me!
Induction kit of some kind, any ideas?
Brake upgrade, probably 325i callipers & disks.
Long term im looking at supercharger or engine swap. Or maybe just swap car for a 5. Not sure yet.

I sat in a E36 328 with a Scorpion back box and I can sympatize with you, that thing was raw as hell!! Not a single bit of re-finement. The boom at 2000RPM was just too irritating. You don't get that with the Eisenmann or SS, loud only when you want it to ;)
Induction kit, I would suggest you stick to the standard airbox, add a panel filter if you want to. It's very difficult to get constant good cold air supply even with the best heat shielded kit. Even with my GruppeM, it awesome on the move but once you get stuck in heavy traffic, you will notice the blunting of throttle response; but once on the move again, it gets better. If you want the induction roar, by all means ;)
Supercharger upgrade, it'll be easier to buy another car with a bigger engine, unless you are so attached to your current car and you want a power boost. S/Cing a 318, you'll probably get 323/325 performance, still shy of a 328 for which you can get for good money these days. The reason I am S/C a 330 because it puts me in a performance zone that is not available from cars out of the factory, unless I go for an M. So it's more exclusive. I wouldn't consider S/C a 320 or 325 because I know a box stock 330 is available with the same power.
Brakes upgrade, no problem at all. Speak to West Side, he's done more brake upgrades than I have hot meals!

As you can probably tell. We'll spend your money in a heartbeat :D
Don't worry, we spend enough coin on our own :D
Welcome to the mad house mate, nice looking e36!!
Personally im sponsored by MASTERCARD :D
I had a BMC CDA in my e36 320 and she loved it, then again so did the petrol station haha.. Never one to be stuck in traffic so cant comment on the hot air.

I suppose technically i'm sponsored by Norwich Union! How ironic!
Yes the Scorpion sounds sweet at idle but at anything over 2k it feels like your heads gonna explode.
As for induction your probably right. I've actually experimented a bit lately. I bought the later 9.5litre intake silencer (twice the size of my current one) from a later E36 and tried to fit it. Unfortunately, whilst it will fit, the metal brackets which are welded to the inner wing are in incorrect position and im a bit worried about getting the hacksaw out. Not sure if it would be worth it anyway.
Also, CCFLs will probably be on list soon to replace my ageing and dim In-Pro angel eyes. Probably wait till my bro wants a set for his and get them together.
Out of interest my current list of mods are as follows:
Alpina527 Big Bore Throttle Body
FSE Power Boost Valve
Eibach Pro-kit springs
Bilstein Sprintline Dampers
Powerflex Lower wishbone bushes
Scorpion System
E46 68M Double spoke wheels with 8.5 rears
+ various cosmetic stuff & small amount of ICE
Already spent well over the cars value again on mods....GULP!

Yeah, but in fairness my car was a tad cheaper than yours!
Awesome car mate, you must have a big grin stamped across your face every time you hit that loud pedal!
