Is 150 a good price for a unwarranted diff off a 2005 330 with 28k (could be more but this is what the guy is saying)? a private seller so i doubt there is any come back but what u guys thinky?

Mitsu,I can try a few of the salvage agents we use to look for one for you if you want.Cheapest private isn't always the best way to go.PM me what you are looking for exactly.

I have a 330ci diff off a 2001 coupe, its done 86,000 miles, i want £200? Just about to put it in the for sale section.

mitsu, you know ive looked long and hard for diff's. Twice lol!. Cheapest ive personally seen them go for is £125 up to £225 (this is for non LSD diffs ie non M). So £150 sounds about average.

too right Afif, u must know all the breakers in the UK by now! did u say that u had to change gears more frequently after your conversion? not really sure on how it all works but sounds a great mod

having gone about 6/7 months on an uprated diff i wouldnt recomend it to anyone. However i accidently went extreme (from a 3.38 ratio i went to a 3.94 :eek: :eek: :eek:) so a small step may be ok. I was redlining every 20mph :eek: (100mph top speed... down from 130).

Amazing for ripping it around town and traffic since even in a 1.9 i had power in every gear :D.... but we all know what good that did my engine ;).

The main issue i thought was you sit at the higher rev's when cruising on the motorway :(. I finally got my old ratio back now though :).
