I have to say 100% worth it especially on the M3. My car has done 33k miles on a 51 plate and it now needs a new clutch and also a new SAT NAV screen  .

Was told the clutch would cost about £1000 fitted and the screen would between £1500 to £2000  I was like what! Please tell me it covered under warranty.

Picking my car up later and it wouldn’t cost me a penny. My advise is to renew your warranty it’s worth every penny. :D

overall its definately worth it especially on the M but remember when you dont have warranty you dont go to stealers to buy stuff or get it fitted :p. Ebay does you good ;) along with your local garage :D.

Sat Nav screen under warranty but clutch unfortunately no. Like brakes they are classified as perishable parts. If you're car is very new with less than 10,000 miles on the clutch, they might still consider replacing it under warranty. 33K from the original clutch on an M3, waht else do you want dude? ;)

Looks like you got a good deal ;) [cool

They replaced my clutch on my 330 with 25k miles on it. I was finding the gearbox a bit funny, and I think they replaced the clutch without even looking at the car

2 weeks later they put a new gearbox in, as replacing the clutch made no difference whatsoever (except a lighter left foot :D ). This time I made sure I was on the test drive to show what was wrong.

I concur though - owning an M without warranty is very risky, especially considering the engine problems it's had.
