Lol - man, my whole family say the same thing. Ive had about 5 different cars for one reason or another in the past 3 years.

Still not had a chance to go for a "proper" drive yet. Took the wife out earlier, but she's 5 months pregnant, so took it easy. The noise it makes is sooooooooooo good though - especially the blip on the SMG downshift :D

Question - one of the keys remotes isnt working. How long does it take to charge, and can you just leave it in the ignition on Switch 2 (i.e. car not turned on) to have it charge up. Tried it for an hour, but still not working.

I'll try and post some pics of the inside, as I think the Black with Cinnamon combo looks really good (but then I am biased, obviously).

Yup -- all Nick's fault ! Loved the pics he posted.

BigFas - Although I didnt get that great a deal, prices on M's are dropping so fast. When I bought my 330 5 months ago, I thought there's no way I could afford one, and yet over the past few months, prices have come down pretty quick. I was lucky in that I got almost what I paid for my own car, so didnt lose too much there. The cars just had Inspection 2, and I got 2 years warranty, so here's hoping it wont cost me too much (apart from fuel !) in the next 2 years. I only do about 6k miles a year.

You know what - Im kicking myself SO HARD ! Because literally a week after fitting the LEDs and having the LCM recoded, I wanted to change car. I then thought it too much hassle to have it recoded again, and Id already sold my old lights.

But I want LEDs now - they look so much better ! Thing is, my car is early 2002 so I need a new LCM. Do you know if the LCMs come pre-coded correctly for LEDs if you upgrade it ?

Must admit, the "raspy" sound the M3 makes doesnt sound very good when you're outside the car. I've heard a few, and always thought "old banger noise" when I heard it. But inside it's all good.

Have you had your exhaust fitted ? Would love to hear it in person sometime. Gonna make the effort to link up with you guys at the next meet.

Nice colour combo.

The key recharges while its in the ignition and the car is on. Try keeping both keys with you and put the one that needs recharging in the ignition when driving. If doesnt recharge, may be a problem with the key.

Cool - tried this for about an hour yesterday, but nothing. May be the key itself. A little annoyed the dealer didnt check this before dispatching the car to me. Will give them a bell later ......

Managed to get a flat battery last night, so couldnt go for a spin (doh!). Must've been messing with the stereo too long.

Anyway, BMW guy came and started the car. Got the battery charging now. So hopefully take it for a proper drive tonight.

He also sorted the key out - it needed "resetting" apparently. Pressed some button combinations to get it to work, so glad that's sorted.

When's the next Evotechnik meet then ???

lol im guessing you got a tracker aswell ;) Those things drain battery aswell which forces you to drive it regularly i heard. As for next meet...... not a clue [bang. I say one during the next 2 weeks since its easter holidays for me neways ;).
