:) Thought I would get round to put some pics of my 2001 BMW 330D Sport on the site, been roaming this site for a while now. Slipped a disc recently so got time on my hands to do things I should have done ages ago.
Bit about myself:
In the armed forces (Royal Navy Electronic Systems Engineer on Vanguard Class Nuclear Submarines).
A Mackem for my sins(Sunderland Supporter!). Live in the North East in a lovely city called Durham.
!st BMW and love it, should have took the plunge years ago!
New to the modding side of things, car standard at mo,however looking at changing the 18`s for some M6 18 or 19`s or maybe acs type 3`s.
Hope to to take part in this forum as much as my job and wife allows me!!
Anyway here`s the pics, let me know what you think.:)
Not too sure how to add pics but here goes!

Hi & Welcome along, good base car for modding you've got there, I'm sure Raj will be along shortly with some tips on modding a 330D saloon :D
I run 18" x ACS T3R's on Eibach pro kit, so my sig pics will give you an idea of what they are like, mind you, you'll need deep pockets for genuine ones

Enjoy the forum matey:) Just got married about two months ago to a lass from Durham. Did it in Lumley castle:) See you around...J
Welcome aboard....
Great base car you have there. Reminds me of the good old days (well about 7 months ago  ) when mine looked just like that apart from the wheels. Happy days to come with the modding though.
The CCFLs are deffo the best mod to start with as they do look great. The only thing is that with mine they flicker when only the sidelights are on (all connections are soldered properly), but they are fine when the xenons are on  .
As for other mods on the D, just ask...

:) cheers for the posts guys will definately be doing the ccfl`s first. Then wheel change and who knows from there! Thanks all for the welcome, cheers BigFas for the decals, where do you all think is the best place to put them on a 330d salon? Congrates exoticman on getting married to a northen lass.
Raj cheers for the info on the ccfl`s have you heard if other people have had the same problem you have?
Thanks again all.:)

I have put one on the bonnet above the nearside headlight, looks subtle but still noticeable. I did put 1 more on each of the rear doors glass when I did my PBMW feature also.
As for the CCFLs, when I first fit them they were a problem but then I had the connections soldered and they were fine. But then after having the headlights/bumper removed for one of my mods they have started flickering again :( . So if you solder the connections you may be fine....

Cheers for the info, wonder if you have a slight dry joint in one of your welds. It might be worth a try anyway.:)

My ccfls flicker as well so I just use headlights all the time, had them for 18 months now so maybe they are past it ??

Mine were doing that the other week, Teddy sent me a new inverter and that solved the problem.
Mine are Gen1s. I do have a spare inverter so I may try that and see if it sorts the one side. If it does then i'll change the other side too.
