Ok , having thought long and hard and now having driven a CSL (in short , absolutley brilliant car but in no way could i get away with the gearbox , full stop) i am now going for a full sus/brake set up for my car.

Before we proceed the car is B road basher with the odd track day & ring trip included.

Roy has given me some advice (all good it seems) so i would like you clever guys to help too , naturally i want the best gear but funds wont allow but i also dont want poor stuff so what can we reccomend in this are??

Suspension , looking for a full adjustable set up (TEIN SS/KW)

Strut braces & possibly shock mounts/camber plates but i dont know enought about the benefits

Finally , brakes are my biggest thing , i would love the brembos but my oh my there expensive so it leads me to Stoptech (Nicks expreiences have dampened my thoughs on the , bell corrosion etc) AP ? and of course F carbon

After all this comes the big S/C as i have already done exhaust etc.

Best Regards

Paul

If you want to keep your top shock mounts, have a look at the Eibach coilovers Roy is selling. This way you can use the stock top mounts locating holes for a lot of strut braces. If you want to change the top mounts as well, go for the TEINs, but you won't find a lot of strut brace that will fit it without modifications to the turret mounting plates. Of course you can get the TEIN without their top mounts, and you get damper adjustment as well on top of height sdjustment, but the TEIN top mounts make a big difference.

BBKs, go for the F Carbon. They are more than good enough. Alternatively, if you want to go cheaper without sacrificing quality, have a look at Teddy's VTTR Racing BBK.

Here option two... get a CSL and swap the SMG out for a manual... that would be very interesting.. and then slap a supercharger on it.

LOL

To be fair , i took them back to the ratailer ( i had various problems with them) and they got sent away , came back with new bells , discs & pads!!!!!

The other problems were the pad retaining clips/pins were getting corroded very quickly thus not allowing the pad to move freely causing them to bind and ultimatley wear out a lot faster!

Great customer service though!
