CCFL help

The light on my dash is on telling me there is a bulb out so i contacted Teddy who kindly sent me a new inverter. Fitted the new inverter adb the light remains on. as soon as i turn the lights on (either side lights ccfl or main lights) the dash light goes out. Any one have any ideas?:)

disconnect both sides CCFL and plug the original sidelights bulbs in. Turn the engine on for few minutes till the light goes out. Refit the CCFL then it should be solved.

Or possibly try leaving bulb holders in? I had the same thing!

What do you mean by leaving the bulb holders in?

Leave the holder in, unless you cut it off instead of divding the wires?
