Hi
I spoke to Karl at XS Speed - the uk suppliers of Kazz diff's.
He said that he's got some E46LSD's comming over from the states soon and that he could do supply and fit into your old diff housing for around 1100quid.
Just one thing, he mentioned something about the gear ratio having to be 3.46, which to be honest I didn't understand.
Can someone with a bit more technical knowledge give him a call and find out what he's on about.....
He's looking to offer a group buy on this forum. [ok [ok [ok
Cheers
Kris

3.46 is a very good ratio for the 330 6-speed. Shorter rear diff, better the acceleration but you loose top speed. The stock 2.93 is overgeared; yea you do 70MPH on a motorway at 2000RPM but if you like driving quick, you really want a shorter ratio. With a 5-speeder, it can get a bit revvy sitting on the motorway doing 80MPH at 4000RPM; hence the overdrive 6th will be ideal.
