I'v just bought a set of Hamann roundells for the 330, i went in the garage to fit them, looked at the car and thought, how the hell do i get the old ones off without damaging the paint or the badge? Now im not stupid, i'v thought of the old bit of rag under a screwdriver to protect the bonnet/boot while i lever them off but surly there's a better way to do this?

Any other ideas will be much appreciated.

I removed mine with a very fine flat screwdriver with a thick rag under it. There is no way my bonnet one would have come off with anything other than a screwdriver, took me five minutes of gentle persuation to get that bugger off.

Yeah! i had a little go at the front one, that seemed pretty much the same. Ill do the old rag and screwdriver trick then.

heat it with hot water or a hairdrier and it will come off with more ease

thats how we used to do it in non bmw cars anyway :) same for stickers !

What you need to do is use a piece of plastic, a scraper, old credit card etc
& lever up each side & it will pop out. Do not use a screwdriver unless you are very carefull !!
