Some folks have seen Waseems M5 (black M5 with the ACSchnitzer bodykit).
Well not having satnav was kinder bugging him bigtime, so being a hardcore modder (and slightly crazy), he asked me whether it could be done, to which I replied of course!! "where there's a mod, there's a way!"
This install isn't for the faint hearted, alot of work is required, but is well worth it. I cannot take full gratitude for this satnav mission, Andy D (D4 on BMWCar) was the "brains", and a fellow M5 owner (Roger) popped by and got stuck into helping out! Cheers guys!
He set about getting the full satnav kit, main components here:

There's also a whole bunch of wiring looms/brackets/bolts/antenna's that are part of the kit, but not shown in the pics.
Wiring it up (to check all the bits work ;) before comencing surgery..

Taking out rear seats to trace/install new wiring loom :

Front seat removal is necessary to lift up all carpets to place wiring loom, also speaker connections to both doors need to be changed, pain in the a$$ getting to the door plug wiring.

lowering bottom half of the dash, and centre console area to get the wiring loom in place and over to driver side..

Removing drivers side seat :

Just got a few little things to iron out, and it'll be completely finished.
Thanks to Was, for letting me, strip an M5 [cool
