Well.. more German than it was already, as obviously it's a BMW.

This is what it looked like about 6-7 weeks ago....

Very cheap buy, infact a bargain compared to what the car seems valued at. So spending the difference on mods seems more justifiable for someone that was 'not modding the next car'. lol.

Anyway. Mods.

Changed the indicators all round to get rid of the orange. It's not a JDM style honda wannabe now. Audio in. Private plate went on... then got replaced by new German style ones ( hence post title ) - and got the Mtech kit on today. All nice second hand buys ( thanks to those involved ;) )

and a pic to make a sig out of I think...

To come.. well the car that I bought not to mod has 19" CSL reps sitting in the garage to go on and I need to actually get silver indicator bulbs to tidy it up. And I'm hoping to sort out the rear light cluster that is part of the bootlid ( reverse lights ) bit asap as they look messy IMO.

I know you've all seen this level of modding a million times over but for the budget I've worked on I'm damn impressed :)

Well done dude! definately a big transformation

The way i see things is your gonna appreciate it more than someone who just throws a credit card around, and for that reason hats off to ya mate!
Ive got more respect for someone who works hard for something or gets in there and does it themselves. Big difference between 'look what I did' to some of the 'look what i paid for' cars around.
Sorry if this pisses anyone off on here but thats the way i see it.

Cheers for the comments - couple of questions the young padawan has....

the reverse light section of the tail lights - the bit on the boot lid - where is the best place to get the later spec versions of these? With reflector built in... need to tidy that bit up.

Spacers - Robin mentioned when I fit the CSL reps I should think about spacing out the rears slightly.... pro's and con's lads! Would look better but how will it ride / handle etc.. there must be some effect somewhere by doing this.

Umm i think the pros to spacers are you get a wider stance? nto sure let one of the more clued up members answer that properly for you, cars looking great i did the same thing on my old car bought it as a se and put all the kit on! does you car come with the sports seats?

Looking good keep up the work

Yeah it has sports half leather electric seats inside - quite happy with them.

other options seem to be rain sensitive wipers and headlight washers.
